Nestlé NAN Expertpro HA 1 hypoallergenic infant formula for infants from birth, 400 g

NAN® Expert Pro HA 1 is a hypoallergenic infant formula for healthy infants from birth.

It is intended for babies who are at increased risk of developing a cow's milk protein allergy (e.g., if a family member is allergic) and cannot be breastfed for various reasons.

The ingredients in NAN® Expert Pro HA 1 infant formula include:

• partially hydrolyzed protein
• DHA* and ARA, essential unsaturated fatty acids from the omega-3 and omega-6 families
• B. lactis bacteria
• *contains DHA (as required by law for all infant formulas).

Indications:

Hypoallergenic infant formula for healthy infants from the first day of birth who are at increased risk of developing a cow's milk protein allergy (e.g., if a family member is allergic) and who cannot be breastfed for various reasons. 

Ingredients:

How to prepare:

• Begin preparing the formula by thoroughly washing your hands
• Then thoroughly wash the bottle, nipple, and cap, then boil them for 5 minutes. Leave covered until ready to use
• Boil drinking water and allow to cool. To maintain the appropriate amount of live bacteria cultures, the boiled water should be close to body temperature, approximately 37°C (98°F)
• Following the feeding chart, pour the appropriate amount of lukewarm water into the bottle and add the powder. Use only the included measuring cup to measure the powder. After use, check that the measuring cup is dry and return it to the packaging. Close the can tightly and store it in a cool, dry place
• Replace the cap and shake the bottle until the powder is completely dissolved
• Before serving, check the temperature of the formula by shaking a few drops of milk onto your wrist. Serve milk immediately after preparation. Don't keep any leftovers. Discard any unfinished portion.

How to use:

• 1st and 2nd weeks of life: 7-8 feedings per day, 1 serving = 60 ml of boiled water + 2 level scoops of powder
• 3rd and 4th weeks of life: 6-7 feedings per day, 1 serving = 90 ml of boiled water + 3 level scoops of powder
• 2nd and 3rd months of life: 6 feedings per day, 1 serving = 120 ml of boiled water + 4 level scoops of powder
• 4th months of life: 6 feedings per day, 1 serving = 150 ml of boiled water + 5 level scoops of powder
• 5th and 6th months of life: 5 feedings per day, 1 serving = 180 ml of boiled water + 6 level scoops of powder
• The given serving size and number are an average intake for a child of a given age, depending on individual needs. Always consult your doctor regarding the number of meals. 

Contraindications:

• Allergy to any of the product's ingredients
• Infants with a known allergy to cow's milk protein should not be fed NAN® Expert Pro HA 1.

Warnings: 

• Breastfeeding is the best way to feed infants and should be continued for as long as possible. Before deciding to use infant formula, consult a doctor
• Follow the preparation instructions
• Improper preparation and storage can be life-threatening
• Unboiled water, unboiled bottles, or improperly prepared formula can harm your baby
• Use only the measuring cup provided in the package
• Using more or less powder than indicated may lead to malnutrition or dehydration
• Do not change the powder-to-water ratio without consulting a doctor
• Prepare only one serving of formula at a time, and give it to your child freshly prepared
• Discard any uneaten milk
• Always hold your baby while feeding. A child left unattended may choke
• Store in a cool, dry place
• Use the package within 3 weeks after opening.
