Strepsils Menthol is used as an adjuvant in the treatment of oropharyngeal infections when there are also phenomena of nasal congestion, favoring the improvement of the symptoms caused by them.
Quick (in 5 minutes) and long-lasting (up to 2 hours) relief of sore throat.
Antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral effect.
It decongests the airways.

Contraindications:
Do not take Strepsils Menthol:
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to amylmetacresol, 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol and levomenthol or to any of the other components of the medicine.

Precautions:

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

Driving vehicles and using machines:
Strepsils Mentholnu has no influence on the ability to drive vehicles and use machines.

Mode of administration:
Always take Strepsils Menthol exactly as your doctor has told you. You should talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Doses:
Side effects can be minimized by using the lowest effective dose necessary to control symptoms, for the shortest possible duration.
The duration of the treatment should not exceed 5 days because there may be imbalances of the microbial flora in the oral cavity with the risk of bacterial or fungal infections.

Adults:
The recommended dose is one Strepsils Menthol pill every 2-3 hours; not to exceed 12 pills in a 24-hour period.

Pediatric population:
Children over 6 years of age: the recommended dose is similar to that for adults.

Children under 6 years of age:
Not recommended for children under 6 years of age.

Seniors:
It is not necessary to adjust the dose in this category of patients.
