Description
The preparation
Boil the decoction for 10 minutes: 1 teaspoon per 2 dl of water
Dosage
Drink 2 dl decoction 2-3 times a day 15 minutes before meals
Toxicity (harmfulness): in the indicated doses, the drug is harmless
Contraindications
Obstruction and inflammation of the bile ducts, ileus.
Active substances in the medicine: bitters - eudesmanolides and germacranolides, triterpenes (taraxasterol), sterols, carotenoids, flavonoids, mucilages, carbohydrates up to 40% (inulin).
European Pharmacopoeia: Taraxaci radix (Ph.Eur.6.6.).
