Obtained from the red sap of the trees called Dragonieri, this precious extract, rich in active compounds, is deeply regenerating and reparative of the skin, powerful antioxidant, cicatrizing, effectively combats the signs of skin aging, increases skin firmness and tone by stimulating collagen synthesis.

In Latin America, the dark red sap secreted by the tree species Dracaena cinnabari and later from Croton lechleri, has been used since ancient times as an adjuvant for damaged skin, affected by wounds, pinches, ulcers or burns, being considered a liquid dressing . Nowadays, a series of scientific studies highlight the healing and dermal regeneration properties of the dragon's blood extract, properties based on the high content of alkaloids (taspines), tannins, catechins, proanthocyanidins and lignans.

Dragon's Blood is a resin obtained from the trunk of the Croton lechleri ​​tree, native to the equatorial forests at the foot of the Peruvian Andes and has recognized therapeutic and cosmetic virtues.

Properties:
- cicatrizing, skin repair;
- dermal regenerator, fight against premature aging of the skin;
- antioxidant, antiradical, combats oxidative stress;
- anti-aging, fights signs of skin aging;
- stimulator on fibroblasts, redensifies the skin support network;
- improves stratification and cellular cohesion of the epidermis;
- stimulates collagen synthesis, increases skin tone and firmness;
- astringent, anti-inflammatory, light antibacterial.

Recommendations for use:
- taking care of any type of skin, especially mature, wrinkled skin;
- care of damaged, wounded skin, affected by cracks, small burns or cuts;
- skin care affected by inflammatory processes, eczema;
- alleviation of stretch marks, scars;
- skin care exposed to external aggressions: pollution, wind, cold, sun;
- skin care after shaving, epilation.

Way of ussage:
- it is a product that is not used as such on the skin, only as an ingredient in cosmetic preparations;
- being soluble in water and insoluble in oils, it can only be included in formulas that also contain water;
- indicative dosage 1 - 4%;
- as an ingredient in the preparation of creams, lotions, toners, gels and watery serums for the skin;
- as an ingredient for repair creams, anti-stretch marks, lotions and body milk;
- as an ingredient for the preparation of beach creams and lotions, skin care after exposure to the sun;
- one drop in the daily dose of face cream, 2-4 drops in the dose of cream/body milk;
- it can be included in the cream base from our offer, the dosage depending on the total percentage of the other added ingredients;
- it is thermosensitive, it is included cold in compositions (max. 40°C); in emulsions it is included in the final phase.
