L-theanine – what is it?

Theanine is an organic chemical compound from the group of non-protein amino acids. L-theanine is not found in dietary protein, but can be found in green tea leaves (Camellia sinensis), among others.

L-theanine can also be supplemented with Doctor Life capsules. This product contains no artificial additives or fillers. The valuable active ingredient is encapsulated in a plant-based capsule made of pullulan – a natural polysaccharide obtained from tapioca – making this dietary supplement suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

The recommended daily dose is 1 to 2 capsules . Each package contains 120 capsules and can provide up to 4 months of daily supplementation for one person.
