Description
MacroBalance contains macrogol powder for the effective and safe treatment of short-term and chronic constipation in adults and children. The use of macrobol is safe: it is an internal substance that binds water to itself, the substance is not absorbed into the body when it passes through the intestine.
When the macrogol is used with water, the water binds to it. This increases the water content of the intestine and also the bulk of the stool. A softer stool with a larger volume will mechanically stretch the bowel and movement will occur with the subsequent need to stool. The seat is thus easier to pass.
Macrobalance is a medical device.
Dosage and method of use
Open 1 sachet and dissolve its contents in about 2 dl (full glass) of liquid: water or fruit juice. Mix until the powder is completely dissolved in the liquid and drink the solution. If necessary for very young children, a 6 g sachet can be mixed into 1 dl (half a glass) of liquid.
Adults and children over 8 years of age: The usual dose is 1 sachet (12 g) once or twice a day mixed with liquid.
Children aged 4 to 7 years: The usual dose is 1 sachet (6 g) once or twice a day mixed with liquid.
Children aged between 2-3 years: The usual dose is 1 sachet (6 g) once a day, mixed with liquid.
The dose can be taken regardless of the time of day. The usual duration of treatment is a maximum of 14 days. If necessary, the treatment can be repeated. Also, the doctor may recommend a longer duration of treatment.
Composition
Macrogol 4000. Does not contain other substances.
