Operation:

BERHEPPA contains a natural extract of the Indian dragon fruit that contains berberine, choline and adenosyl methionine. Indian barberry (Berberis aristata), which grows in India and Nepal, contains the highly effective alkaloid berberine as its main component. Common barberry (Berberis vulgaris) also grows in Central Europe, which also contains berberine, but not as much as in Indian barberry. Berberine contributes to the normal functioning of the cardiovascular system and the normal level of cholesterol in the blood. It also supports normal liver function and normal blood glucose levels. Choline is normally synthesized in the body. Choline is also a common part of food.

S-adenosyl-L-methionine serves as a natural precursor in the formation of neurotransmitters in the brain. S-adenosyl-L-methionine is a naturally occurring compound found in almost every tissue and fluid in the body. It is involved in many important processes. S-adenosyl-L-methionine plays a role in the immune system, maintains cell membranes and helps the natural metabolism of substances, e.g. serotonin, melatonin and dopamine. It serves as a methyl group and organic sulfur supplier. S-adenosyl-L-methionine (the active form of methionine) supports the formation of the antioxidant glutathione, which protects liver cells from oxidative stress and oxygen free radicals.
