Description
Voltaren Sport is a drug in gel form with analgesic, anti-inflammatory and anti-swelling properties. Intended for use by adults and children over 14 years of age.
What are the indications for using Voltaren Sport gel?
Voltaren Sport is a gel intended for rubbing into the skin. The active substance diethylammonium contained in it belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, which are associated with inflammation, which helps reduce pain and swelling.
Voltaren Sport should be used:
- in case of post-traumatic inflammation of tendons, ligaments and muscles (for example, resulting from sprains, strains or bruises),
- in case of back pain,
- with limited soft tissue inflammation, such as: tendinitis, tennis elbow, joint capsule inflammation, periarticular inflammation,
- in the limited and mild forms of osteoarthritis.
Thanks to the water-alcohol base, Voltaren Sport has an additional calming and cooling effect. The gel should be rubbed into the skin in the area of pain and allowed to absorb.
