Description
Vibrocil Duo nasal spray solution, 10 ml, Gsk
Read the leaflet carefully and completely before you start using this medicine, because it contains important information for you.
Always use this medicine as directed in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
Indications:
Symptomatic treatment of nasal congestion and rhinorrhea, associated with coryza.
Composition:
1 ml contains xylometazoline hydrochloride 0.5 mg and ipratropium bromide 0.6 mg.
1 puff (approximately 140 microliters) contains xylometazoline hydrochloride 70 micrograms and ipratropium bromide 84 micrograms.
Administration method:
Adults: 1 puff in each nostril, up to 3 times a day. An interval of at least 6 hours must be kept between the administration of two doses. Do not exceed 3 applications per day in each nostril.
The duration of treatment should not exceed 7 days.
It is recommended to stop the treatment when the symptoms improve, even before the maximum treatment duration of 7 days, to minimize the risk of adverse reactions.
Children and adolescents:
Vibrocil Duo is not recommended for use in children and adolescents under the age of 18, due to insufficient data on safety and efficacy.
Seniors:
There is only limited experience of use in patients over 70 years of age.
Before the first administration, prime the pump by pressing 4 times. Once the pump is primed, it will remain ready for operation throughout the daily treatment. If the spray solution is not sprayed after a full press of the pump or the medicine has not been used for a period of more than 6 days, the pump must be reprimed by pressing 4 times as the first time.
Contraindications:
Vibrocil Duo should not be used in children and adolescents under the age of 18, due to insufficient data on safety and efficacy.
Hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients.
Known hypersensitivity to atropine or similar substances, eg hyoscyamine and scopolamine.
After surgical interventions in which the dura mater may have been penetrated, for example, transsphenoidal hypophysectomy or other transnasal interventions.
In patients with glaucoma.
In patients with dry rhinitis.

Before using Vibrocil Duo, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
VIBROCIL DUO should not be used during pregnancy unless recommended by your doctor. VIBROCIL DUO should not be used during breastfeeding unless your doctor decides that the benefit of administering this medicine outweighs the potential risk to the child.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Driving vehicles and using machines:
Cases of visual disturbances (including blurred vision and pupil dilation), dizziness and fatigue have been reported during treatment with VIBROCIL DUO. Patients should be warned that if they experience one of these conditions, they should not drive, use machinery, or participate in activities where these symptoms may endanger their lives or may endanger the lives of others.
