Description
The Urgo charging medical electrostimulator is a professional electrostimulator with 5 programs and 15 intensity levels that uses TENS (transcutaneous electrical neurostimulation) medical technology. Due to the use of electric current with a specially selected intensity, the device provides an immediate analgesic effect. Electrotherapy is a method that does not require the use of drugs.
How does the Urgo TENS electric stimulator work?
An electrical current is sent through electrodes (an electrical circuit with a gel element) placed on the surface of the skin, which causes electrical stimulation of the nerves. TENS electrotherapy does not treat the causes of pain, but reduces or eliminates muscle and joint pain, bringing immediate and long-lasting relief:
- immediately by limiting the transmission of pain signals to the spinal cord,
- in the long term by increasing the secretion of endorphins, i.e. natural pain-relieving hormones produced by the brain.
All electrotherapy programs are effective: they have been scientifically tested and the technology has been approved by medical institutions and is used in pain centers.
The electrostimulator comes with 2 self-adhesive gel pads , which are enough for 60 sessions.
