Tonsilotren, 40 tablets, Alpen Pharma

Indications:
Tonsilotren is used for
Diseases of the upper respiratory tract, such as: acute tonsillitis, catarrhal pharyngitis, chronic pharyngitis, chronic and recurrent pharyngitis, tonsillar hypertrophy in children, postoperative treatment after tonsillectomy.

Contraindications:
Do not take Tonsilotren:
- if you are allergic to Atropinum sulfuricum, Hepar sulfuris, Kalium bichromicum, Silicea, Mercurius bijodatus or any of the other components of this medicine.

Precautions:
Before using Tonsilotren, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Tonsilotren should only be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding if your doctor considers it absolutely necessary.

Driving vehicles and using machines:
Tonsilotren has no influence on the ability to drive or use machines.

Mode of administration:
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Children 2-12 years Attack dose 1-2 days 1 cp./2 hours, continue with 1 cp. 3 times/day 1 cp. 3 times/day, 6-8 weeks Repeat several times/year
Children over 12 years, adults Attack dose 2 days, 1-2 cp./hour continue 1-2 cp. 3 times / day 1-2 cp. 3 times/day, 6-8 weeks Repeat several times/year

For children with tonsillar hyperplasia, the recommended dose is 1 tablet. 3 times/day, the duration of the treatment being 6-8 weeks. It is recommended to keep the tablets in the oral cavity as long as possible.

Composition:
- The active substances are: Atropinum sulfuricum trit. D5 12.5 mg, Hepar sulfuris trit. D3 10.0 mg, Kalium bichromicum trit. D4 50.0 mg, Silica trit. D2 5.0 mg, Mercurius bijodatus trit. D8 25.0 mg.
- The other components are: sugar, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate
