Description
TICKLESS PET BLACK Ultrasonic tick protection device for animals
Tickless Pet is intended for dogs and cats (can also be used by humans; it differs from the children's version only in the available colors and packaging).
- Tickless is a device that protects against ticks.
- The effectiveness of the protection has been confirmed by tests.
- The device emits ultrasonic pulses with a frequency of 40 kHz.
- Tickless is also effective in protecting against fleas.
- The effective protection zone is a radius of approximately 1.5 m.
The pulses emitted by the device are completely harmless to people and pets, but they block the main sensory organ of ticks - Haller's organ.
Ticks use Haller's organ to locate the host, when the tick is within range of the ultrasound emitted by the Tickless - it will be disoriented and unable to sense its prey.
Use:
Hang the device on the animal's collar so that the grid on the housing faces the animal's body
Remove the pin to activate the device, the LED will flash
The device will remain active for at least 6 months and cannot be turned off
Moisture does not damage the device (IP13) - however, direct contact with water should be avoided. If it gets wet or wet, let the device dry in a well-ventilated place (the process can be supported by mechanical air flow).
For maximum protection, remember:
Periodically check the activity of the device (after pressing the button, the LED should flash clearly)
When you remove your pet's collar from Tickless, it is not protected, so we recommend:
-check your pet's surroundings without Tickless (ticks may have been there before, eg a bed)
-every time you check your pet and yourself after returning home for ticks that may have accidentally been found on him/her
-using Tickless Home to protect against ticks at home
Protection is not effective when Tickless is wet - remember to let the device dry when you get home.
To provide the best possible protection, especially in areas with a high number of ticks, we recommend using other preventive measures, including: regularly checking your pet's fur
Tickless uses no toxic/chemical substances and is completely safe for pets and humans (including pregnant women, small children, people with pacemakers, etc.).
