ThermaCare heating packs relieve pain in the lower back and hip joints. Therapeutic heat provides pain relief for up to 16 hours. It does not contain medicinal substances.

ThermaCare are self-heating compresses designed to relieve shoulder and/or joint pain associated with:

ThermaCare heating packs provide pain relief for up to 16 hours, 8 hours while wearing and up to 8 hours of relief after removing the pack. Act directly on the site of pain .

Patented thermal cell technology causes deep and uniform heat penetration over the entire surface . The thermal cells reach a temperature of approximately 40°C in 30 minutes, maintaining a constant temperature for up to 8 hours. The compresses produce a soothing, therapeutic heat, thus relaxing the muscles and relieving pain . Help me improve my mobility.

Compresses are comfortable to use and do not require heating . The size of the compresses can be easily adjusted thanks to the elastic band (up to a maximum circumference of 120 cm) and Velcro fastening.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

1. Tear open the compress immediately before use. The time required for the ThermaCare compress to reach the therapeutic temperature can be up to 30 minutes.
2. Place a ThermaCare compress on the site of pain, with the darker heat cells facing the skin. People 55 years of age or older should wear the ThermaCare compress over a layer of clothing (or fabric) so that the compress does not adhere directly to the skin.
3. Do not use more than 8 hours in a 24 hour period.
4. Stop using.

WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS:

People 55 and older: The risk of skin burns increases with age. People 55 years of age or older should wear the ThermaCare compress over a layer of clothing or fabric so that the compress does not adhere directly to the skin. Do not use the compress while sleeping.

This product may cause skin burns and/or blisters. During its use, the condition of the skin should be checked frequently. If irritation or burning occurs, remove the compress immediately.

People with diabetes, circulation problems, heart disease, rheumatoid arthritis and pregnant women should consult a doctor before using the compress.

Do not use a compress:

• if the contents of the thermal cells are leaking or if the compress is damaged or torn
• simultaneously with drugs used locally (on the skin)
• on diseased, irritated or damaged skin
• instead of bruises or swelling that have appeared in the last 48 hours
• in people who are not able to follow all the recommendations regarding the use of the compress
• in areas of the body with impaired temperature sensation
• with other products that emit heat (eg heating pads, heating patches, etc.)
• in people who cannot remove the compress themselves, including children, infants and some elderly people.

Stop using the compress and consult your doctor if:

• a feeling of discomfort, burning or swelling, rash or other skin changes that persist while using the compress
• intensification of pain or persistence of pain after 7 days of using the compress.

Each thermal cell contains iron (about 2 grams). If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately. If the contents of the thermal cell come into contact with the skin or eyes, remove the compress, wash the affected area with water and consult a doctor immediately.

Never heat the product in a microwave oven or try to reheat it as the compress may catch fire.

Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Important information when using ThermaCare heating compresses for the lower back and hip joints:

• Do not put extra pressure on the product, for example by leaning on hard surfaces, wearing tight clothing or wearing a belt.
• If the compress feels too hot, stop using it or put it on a layer of clothing so it doesn't stick directly to the skin.
• Before performing a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan, you should remove the compress to avoid an increased risk of burns.
