ThermaCare ^® heating compresses are ergonomically shaped and flexibly adapt to body movements, precisely adhering to the skin on the neck, shoulders, nape, arms and wrists. They have 10 patented thermal compression cells and are easy to use - just remove the protective film and stick the compress to the painful area using two adhesive strips.

How do ThermaCare ^® heating compresses work?

ThermaCare ^® is a self-heating compress that contains patented thermal cells containing a mixture of iron granules, activated charcoal, salt and water. After opening the hermetic packaging, they oxidize - the heat cells heat up by themselves and in 30 minutes reach a therapeutic temperature of about 40°C, which remains constant for 8 hours.

The heat generated penetrates to a depth of 2 cm through the skin into the muscle tissue and improves the blood circulation in the muscles and the supply of nutrients. As a result, the muscle relaxes and the pain decreases, and the regeneration of the damaged tissue is supported. Moreover, the compress, by stimulating heat receptors in the body, reduces the amount of pain stimuli transmitted to the brain and, as a result, contributes to the reduction of pain felt. Heat not only brings relief, but also helps improve mobility (mobility).

ThermaCare ^® provides pain relief for up to 16 hours: 8 hours during wear and 8 hours after removal.
