Tasectan is a medical device used to restore the physiological functions of the intestinal walls. Its composition was developed to control and alleviate the symptoms of diarrhea of ​​various etiologies, such as abdominal tension and frequent bowel movements. Its operating time is 12 hours. The product contains gelatin tannin, which does not transform in the stomach and acts by creating a layer that protects the intestinal membrane, reducing the frequency and duration of diarrhea.

Tasectan 250 mg is an antidiarrheal medical device that can be used in children to relieve the symptoms of diarrhea of ​​various origins.

Composition: one envelope of the preparation contains 250g of gelatin.

Instructions for use

The contents of one sachet should be mixed with a small amount of a not too hot drink such as milk, fruit juice or water and administered immediately. You can also add it to yogurt or any other food. The product should not be administered directly without mixing it with food.

Dosage

Children under 3 years of age: 1 sachet every 6 hours until symptoms disappear

Children aged 3 to 14 years: 12 sachets every 6 hours until symptoms disappear.

Contraindications

Tasectan should not be used by people with known hypersensitivity to gelatin tannate or any other ingredients of the product.

• Medical consultation is not required before using this product, but is recommended in case of severe or persistent symptoms or in case of doubt regarding the diagnosis of the disease.
• In the case of diarrhea in children under 3 years old and the elderly, a medical consultation is recommended, especially if other symptoms are also present.
• The use of this medical device does not constitute pharmacological treatment. If such treatment is recommended by a physician, this medical device can be used concurrently with pharmacological treatment.
• It is recommended to drink plenty of fluids and follow a suitable diet for patients with diarrhea.
• Do not use the product after the expiry date written on the packaging.
• Do not use the product if the envelope is opened or damaged.
• This medical device does not require special storage conditions. It doesn't freeze.
• Keep out of reach and sight of children.

Despite the fact that there are no known adverse events, this product is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women, unless the doctor decides otherwise.
