Description
Swanson ® Tri-Fiber Complex is a combination of three types of fiber in one gelatin capsule. The food supplement formula contains oat bran, apple pectin and psyllium, suitable for use as a supplement to the daily menu of adults with an additional source of dietary fiber.
What does Swanson ® Tri-Fiber Complex contain?
Psyllium ( Plantago psyllium ) is a plant whose seeds are a valuable plant material. The main component of the seeds is the mucus contained in the seed coat, and it is to this that psyllium seeds owe their properties.
Oat bran is a by-product of grinding oat grains ( Avena sativa ). It is characterized by a high content of dietary fiber. Oat fibers contribute to increasing the mass of stools.
Apple pectin is a fraction of dietary fiber that occurs naturally in apple pulp. Each Swanson® capsule contains 20 mg of powdered apple pectin.
Swanson ® Tri-Fiber Complex is 4 capsules per day to obtain the beneficial effect resulting from the declared action. The recommended daily dose of the formula contains about 2 g of fiber from three sources. Remember to drink an adequate amount of water when supplementing.
