Description
Swanson ® Teavigo ® is a food supplement designed to supplement the diet of adults. Its composition contains highly concentrated green tea extract, standardized to 90% EGCG. One capsule contains 150 mg of epigallocatechin gallate, i.e. EGCG.
Green tea - properties
Green tea ( Camellia sinensis L. ) is a green leafy plant native to China, India and northern Burma. Green tea is made from unfermented leaves - the drying process is carried out immediately after picking. Green tea leaves are a natural source of polyphenols, including epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) - an organic chemical compound from the flavonoid group, which is a derivative of catechin.
Each American brand Swanson® vegetable capsule contains 168 mg of decaffeinated Teavigo® green tea extract, including 150 mg of EGCG.
One package of Swanson Teavigo® Green Tea Extract contains 30 vegan capsules and is enough for about a month of daily dietary supplementation by an adult.
