Sanador syrup for children, 100 ml, Laropharm

Always use this medicine as directed in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.

Indications:

• This medicine contains paracetamol
• It is used for the effective treatment of mild to moderate pain, for example toothache, headache, sore throat, muscle, joint and bone pain
• It is also indicated for the reduction of fever associated with various diseases - colds, flu-like conditions, infectious-contagious diseases of childhood (measles, whooping cough, mumps and whooping cough), ENT diseases, fever after vaccination
• It is indicated for children aged between 0 months and 12 years.

Composition:

The active substance is paracetamol. 5 ml oral solution for children contains paracetamol 150 mg.

Administration method:

• Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you
• Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Use in children:

The recommended single dose depends on body weight: 10 - 15 mg paracetamol/kg.

Depending on the age and weight of the child, the following doses are recommended:

Children aged between 0 and 3 months:

• 2 ml (60 mg paracetamol) as needed (fever after vaccination, other causes of fever and/or pain), only on doctor's recommendation (10 mg/kg and dose
• if the patient is jaundiced, the dose should be reduced to 5 mg/kg and dose)
• If necessary, another dose can be administered after 6 hours
• These two doses can be administered to children weighing more than 4 kg and who were not born prematurely (before the 37th week of pregnancy).

Children aged between 3 and 12 months: 2 - 4 ml (60 - 120 mg paracetamol) 1 - 4 times a day.
Children aged between 1 - 6 years: 4 - 8 ml (120 - 240 mg paracetamol) 1 - 4 times a day.
Children aged between 6 and 12 years : 8 - 16 ml (240 - 480 mg paracetamol) 1 - 4 times a day.

In children weighing between 38 kg and 50 kg , the daily dose of paracetamol should not exceed 3 g per day.

In children weighing more than 50 kg, the daily dose of paracetamol should not exceed 4 g per day.

• The total dose of paracetamol should not exceed 80 mg/kg/day in children weighing less than 37 kg
• Do not administer to children under 3 months without a doctor's recommendation
• If the infant was born prematurely or if it is less than 3 months old, seek medical advice before administration
• The dose can be repeated every 4 hours, if necessary
• Do not administer less than 4 hours apart.
