Indications:
Rhinxyl Ha 1 mg/ml nasal spray, solution belongs to a group of medicines for the treatment of diseases of the nose, called sympathomimetics. It contains xylometazoline hydrochloride, which helps to constrict blood capillaries in the nose, thus reducing nasal congestion.
Rhinxyl Ha 1 mg/ml nasal spray, solution also contains hyaluronic acid (in the form of sodium hyaluronate), which protects and hydrates the nasal mucosa.
Rhinxyl Ha 1 mg/ml nasal spray, solution is used for:
- reduction of congestion of the nasal mucosa caused by inflammation of the nasal mucosa (rhinitis) or inflammation of the sinus mucosa (sinusitis).
Rhinxyl Ha 1 mg/ml nasal spray, solution is recommended for use in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.

Composition:
The active substance is xylometazoline hydrochloride. 1 ml of Rhinxyl Ha 1 mg/ml nasal spray, solution contains xylometazoline hydrochloride 1 mg. One spray (140 µl) contains xylometazoline hydrochloride 0.140 mg.

Administration method:

Dosage
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age:
1 spray of Rhinxyl Ha 1 mg/ml nasal spray, solution in each nostril, up to 3 times a day.
Rhinxyl Ha 1 mg/ml nasal spray, solution should not be used for more than 5 days, unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor. Use can be repeated if treatment has been interrupted for several days.
Long-term use of Rhinxyl Ha 1 mg/ml nasal spray, solution may lead to atrophy of the nasal mucosa. Therefore, in case of chronic disorders, the drug can be used only under medical supervision.
Doses higher than the recommended doses should not be used.

Contraindications:
Do not use RHINXYL HA 1 mg/ml nasal spray, solution:
- if you are allergic to xylometazoline or any of the other components of this medicine;
- if you have dry inflammation of the nasal mucosa (rhinitis sicca)
- if you have undergone a neurosurgical intervention (transsphenoidal surgery of the pituitary gland or any other neurosurgical intervention involving the exposure of the meninges)
- if you have increased pressure inside the eye, especially narrow-angle glaucoma
- in children under 12 years of age.

Precautions:
Before using RHINXYL HA 1 mg/ml nasal spray, solution, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
There are no adequate data on the use of xylometazoline hydrochloride in pregnant women. Therefore, RHINXYL HA 1 mg/ml nasal spray, solution should not be used during pregnancy.
This medicine should not be used during breast-feeding, as it is not known whether xylometazoline hydrochloride is excreted in human milk.

Driving vehicles and using machines:
It is not expected to reduce the ability to drive vehicles or use machines if the drug is used according to the instructions.
