Description
The Praesidium Junior medical mask is a non-sterile medical device designed to protect the respiratory tract. The type II protective mask is characterized by a very high filtration efficiency - more than 98% of airborne bacteria. This means the mask material is resistant to bacterial penetration and stops > 98% of microorganisms trying to get through.
The disposable face mask measures 14.5cm x 8.5cm and is suitable for use by adults with small faces or children. It has comfortable elastic bands that are pulled behind the ear and a nose that allows precise adjustment of the mask to the shape of the face. The medical mask is made of three layers of non-woven material. The middle filter layer of the medical device is made of melt blown non-woven material. It is a type of medical polypropylene non-woven material with a special microfiber structure.
The disposable three-layer mask can be used by healthcare workers for standard medical procedures or by individual users as protection against droplet infections, for example during periods of increased incidence of these infections.
Junior masks are certified according to the EN 14683 standard. They do not cause allergic reactions or skin irritation, which has been confirmed by certificates.
