This is because vegetarian sources of omega-3 only provide ALA (alpha-linolenic acid), the omega-3 precursor EPA and DHA, which our bodies cannot efficiently convert into the necessary EPA and DHA.
Created with sustainably sourced microalgae, our Omega Algae formula is non-GMO and hexane- free. And because it doesn't contain fish or animal products, it's also suitable for vegans .
