Omega 3 fatty acids contain eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), substances that stimulate brain processes, indispensable for the functioning of our brain. It contributes to the production of substances called prostaglandins that have an important role in the proper functioning of the cardiovascular system and the gastrointestinal tract, in reducing cholesterol levels and in the blood coagulation process.
Omega 3 helps regulate blood pressure and stimulate tissue regeneration due to the reduction of blood viscosity. It prevents platelet aggregation, thus reducing the risk of atherosclerosis, hypertension and myocardial infarction.
Omega 3 fatty acids have a vitaminizing, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and adaptogenic action, helping to strengthen the immune system, thus increasing resistance to diseases and infections. It enters the cell membrane component, thus providing effective protection of cells against the action of free radicals.
