Olynth Duo, 1 mg/ml+50 mg/ml nasal spray, solution, 10 ml, Johnson & Johnson

Indications:
Olynth Duo nasal spray contains xylometazoline hydrochloride and dexpanthenol. Xylmetazoline hydrochloride rapidly constricts the blood vessels in the nasal mucosa and reduces swelling of the nasal mucosa.
Dexpanthenol is a derivative of the vitamin called pantothenic acid, which helps heal wounds and protects the nasal mucosa.

Olynth Duo is used:
- to reduce the swelling of the nasal mucosa in case of inflammation of the nasal mucosa (rhinitis) and to support the healing of mucosal wounds,
- for the relief of inflammation of the nasal membrane of non-allergic cause (vasomotor rhinitis),
- for the treatment of aggravation of breathing through the nose, after a surgical intervention at the level of the nose; the use of Olynth Duo in this indication is possible only on the recommendation of a doctor.

This medicine is intended for use in adults, adolescents and children 6 years of age and older.

Contraindications:
Do not use Olynth Duo:
- if you are allergic or your child is allergic to xylometazoline hydrochloride, dexpanthenol or any of the other components of this medicine.

Precautions:
Before using Olynth Duo, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
This medicine should not be used during pregnancy due to a lack of safety data in pregnant women. This medicine should not be used during breast-feeding because it is not known whether xylometazoline hydrochloride is excreted in breast milk.

Driving vehicles and using machines:
This medicine is not expected to affect your ability to drive or use machines when used as directed.

Administration method:
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

The recommended dose for adults is one spray in each nostril, up to 3 times a day, as needed, unless your doctor tells you otherwise. Do not use this medicine for more than 7 days. If you do not feel better or feel worse after 7 days of treatment, contact your doctor. The next use is possible only after a break of several days.

If your child does not feel better or feels worse after 3 days of treatment, contact the doctor.

Administration method:
Olynth Duo is intended for nasal administration.

First remove the protective cover of the sprayer.
Before the first use, press the sprayer 5 times until a fine powder appears. If the spray has not been used for a long time, the sprayer should be pressed twice before use.

Composition:
- The active substances are xylometazoline hydrochloride and dexpanthenol.
Each ml of nasal spray, solution contains xylometazoline hydrochloride 1 mg and dexpanthenol 50 mg.
One spray contains 0.1 ml of nasal spray, solution, containing xylometazoline hydrochloride 0.1 mg and dexpanthenol 5.0 mg.
- The other ingredients are potassium dihydrogen phosphate, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate and water for injections.
