Description
Nutricia Neocate ® Syneo is food with special medical purpose suitable for use in children from the first day of life. A hypoallergenic powder formulation based on amino acids is suitable as the only source of food for infants up to 1 year old and as a supplement to the diet of children over 1 year old.
When to use Neocate ® Syneo?
- Allergy to cow's milk proteins.
- Complex intolerance to food proteins.
- Other diseases in which an elemental diet is indicated.
Neocate ® Syneo is intended for dietary management of cow's milk protein allergy and complex food protein intolerance in infants. It can also be administered as medical food for conditions that require an elemental diet.
The elemental diet is a complete way of eating, which involves the consumption of balanced cocktails prepared on the basis of ready-made mixtures. Neocate ® Syneo contains all the necessary nutrients, including free amino acids in powder form. Due to its properties, it can be used, upon doctor's recommendation, as the only source of food for infants up to 12 months old. Neocate ® Syneo can also be used for meal preparation.
Syneo composition
Neocate ® Syneo contains the SYNEO composition, which is a combination of our unique FOS/FOS oligosaccharide composition and Bifidobacterium breve M-16V .
If your child has been diagnosed by a doctor with a severe allergy to cow's milk proteins or complex food protein intolerance and has recommended an elemental diet (or an amino acid-based preparation), talk to him about Neocate ® Syneo.
