Description
Moilec is a drug in the form of tablets containing the active substance meloxicam, which belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. The mechanism of anti-inflammatory action of meloxicam is the preferential inhibition of cyclooxygenase COX-2 over COX-1. This ingredient is characterized by anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic effects.
Indications for the use of Moilec are bone, joint and muscle pain in the course of rheumatoid and degenerative joint diseases. The preparation is intended for the short-term treatment of exacerbations of symptoms of rheumatoid diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis and can be used in adults and adolescents over 16 years of age.
