Indications:
MIG pediatric is an anti-inflammatory and analgesic (calming) drug (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory, NSAID), with fever-reducing (antipyretic) effects.
Pediatric MIG is used for the short-term symptomatic treatment of:
- Fever
- Mild to moderate pain
Pediatric MIG is used in children weighing between 5 kg (6 months) and 29 kg (9 years).
Composition:
The active substance is ibuprofen.
Each ml of suspension contains ibuprofen 20 mg.
Administration method:
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Unless otherwise recommended by the doctor, the recommended dose of MIG pediatric 20 mg/ml is:

10 - 15 kg (Children 1-3 years) 100 mg (equivalent to 5 ml oral suspension) 300 mg (equivalent to 15 ml oral suspension per day)
16 - 20 kg (Children 4-6 years) 150 mg (equivalent to 7.5 ml oral suspension) 450 mg (equivalent to 22.5 ml oral suspension per day)
21-29 kg (Children 7–9 years) 200 mg (equivalent to 10 ml oral suspension) 600 mg (equivalent to 30 ml oral suspension per day)
The interval between doses must be at least 6 hours.
Contraindications:
Do not take pediatric MIG:
- If your child is allergic to ibuprofen or any of the other components of this medicine.
Precautions:

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Task:
If you become pregnant during treatment with MIG pediatric you must inform the doctor.
You can only use ibuprofen during the first 6 months of pregnancy, after talking to your doctor.
Due to an increased risk of complications for mother and child, pediatric MIG should not be used during the last 3 months of pregnancy.
Fertility:
Pediatric MIG belongs to a group of drugs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) that can affect fertility in women. This effect is reversible upon discontinuation of treatment.
Breastfeeding:
The active substance, ibuprofen, and its metabolites pass into breast milk in small amounts. Since no negative effects on the child have been observed so far, it is not necessary to stop breast-feeding in the case of short-term treatment. However, if you have been recommended a longer treatment or with higher doses, you should consider stopping breast-feeding in time.
Driving vehicles and using machines:
Because with the use of pediatric MIG in high doses, adverse reactions in the central nervous system such as fatigue and dizziness may occur, reflexes may be altered, and the ability to actively participate in driving or operating machinery may be impaired. affected, in isolated cases. This effect is potentiated to a greater extent in the case of association with alcohol. In this case, you are no longer able to react quickly and promptly to unexpected and sudden events. Do not drive cars or other vehicles in this case! Do not use tools or machinery! Do not work without a secure footrest!
