Why is Kendamil milk based on whole cow's milk?

Fat is an important component of breast milk and the second largest solid component after lactose. Research shows that the fat sources used by Kendamil in infant formula must be carefully selected to ensure optimal growth of the baby. Researchers recommend considering the use of milk fat in infant formulas.

Kendamil's findings and research therefore led to a return to whole milk with less oil. Whole cow's milk has a natural milk fat content. Thanks to this full-fat milk formula, Kendamil also has a pleasant milky taste that children will love.

Nutrition facts

100 ml prepared milk = 12.9 g powder and 90 ml water * 3'GL (3'galactosylactose) = oligosaccharide of breast milk, belonging to the HMO group naturally present in breast milk

Preparation instructions

Wash your hands, sterilize all equipment and the bottle.

Boil drinking water suitable for infants and allow it to cool to about 40 degrees C.

Add the appropriate number of level cups (see dosage chart).

Close the bottle and shake well to dissolve the powder.

Remove the cap and replace it with a sterilized teat.

Check the temperature of the milk on the inside of your wrist (recommended temperature is 37°C) and serve immediately.

Important feeding instructions

Use the correct amount of level measuring cups as directed. The child can get sick if you use more or fewer measuring cups than indicated in the instructions. If the prepared milk is not used within 2 hours of preparation, we recommend that you pour it and prepare new milk. Do not add adult products, such as long-life cow's milk, to prepared milk. Do not heat in a microwave oven.

Notification

Breastfeeding is the best way to feed babies. Kendamil BIO Nature 2 HMO+ follow-on milk is only suitable for children over 6 months of age and should only be part of a mixed diet and should not be used as a substitute for breast milk in the first 6 months of life. The decision to start complementary feeding, including any exception to the 6-month rule, should only be made on the basis of the recommendation of independent persons qualified in medicine, nutrition or pharmacy or other professionals responsible for the care of the mother and child, depending on the growth and individual development needs a particular child. Ensure your infant's oral hygiene after drinking milk, especially before going to bed. Follow the instructions for preparation, feeding and storage, otherwise you will endanger the health of the infant. Close the package carefully after preparing each dose. Do not add more or less than prescribed or anything else. Use the prepared food within 2 hours, then throw it away. Do not heat in the microwave as there is a risk of burning the baby.
