Description
Innofer is food for special medical purposes in the form of a suspension containing elemental iron. The product is used under medical supervision and is intended for dietary management of iron deficiency and iron deficiency anemia (anemia). It is suitable for infants, including those with low birth weight, children and adults. Can be used in pregnant women.
The elemental iron contained in the composition is characterized both by a very high iron content exceeding 98% and by a high bioavailability of 69%. It is better tolerated than iron salts, so it does not cause abdominal pain, diarrhea and constipation. The package comes with a dosing syringe that allows you to easily measure the appropriate portion of the product for consumption. 0.1 ml of the suspension contains 2 mg of iron, and 5 ml of the product contains 100 mg of iron.
