Description
HydroVag ® vaginal pessaries are a medical device developed especially for women. It supports the regeneration of the vaginal epithelium and helps relieve the sensation of dryness and discomfort associated with itching, burning and tension. It can be used as an aid to maintain normal vaginal flora and pH, for example after antibiotic treatment and as a means of supporting wound healing after childbirth and after gynecological procedures. It is also useful in atrophy and dystrophy caused by estrogen deficiency, during perimenopause and after the use of hormonal drugs and after radio- and chemotherapy. It can also be used in cases of painful intercourse to relieve pain.
HydroVag ® vaginal pessaries – action
HydroVag ® vaginal globules improve the hydration of the vaginal mucosa and support regeneration processes. They help maintain the physiological pH and provide protection against the negative effects of external factors.
The HydroVag ® ball placed in the vagina gradually disintegrates, leaving a coating on the mucosa that helps restore the proper condition of the vaginal epithelium.
Used in the composition:
- sodium hyaluronate ensures proper hydration of the vaginal mucosa and protects it, supports the healing and tissue reconstruction process;
- lactic acid helps maintain the natural pH of intimate areas, thus reducing the risk of infection;
- glycogen is a breeding ground for lactic acid bacteria, which create the natural bacterial flora of the vagina and help maintain the correct, acidic pH and prevent the development of infections.
