Description
Throat lozenges protect the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat . They are used to relieve symptoms such as hoarseness, itching and burning in the throat and dry mucous membranes , which lead to a sore throat or a dry non-productive cough.
The causes of dry and irritated mucous membranes of the mouth and throat are diverse and may include:
- Excessive strain on the voice
- Difficulty breathing through the nose (for example, due to a cold)
- Dry air caused by heating or air conditioning
- Pollen allergy (hay fever)
- Smoking
Use
The throat lozenges are allowed to dissolve slowly until completely dissolved to ensure complete formation of the hydrogel complex as well as its full expansion. The tablets should not be chewed or swallowed whole.
As needed, even several times a day, suck 1 pill on the throat, e.g. every 2-3 hours . A maximum of 6 pills per day can be taken. It is recommended to use after meals.
