Femannose N, D-mannose, 30 sachets

Femannose N is a medical device intended for the prevention and supportive treatment of urinary infections ( cystitis ) and other diseases of the urinary tract of microbiological origin. Each sachet of Femannose N contains 2 g of D-mannose. The preparation is suitable for both adults and children over 14 years of age. It can also be used by vegans.

D-mannose – action

D-mannose , the main ingredient of Femannose N, has properties that can alleviate the most common symptoms of lower urinary tract infections, such as burning during urination, frequent urination and the sudden need to urinate. The most common cause of these infections is the bacterium Escherichia coli. D-mannose works by inhibiting the attachment of pathogens to the urinary tract epithelium. As a result, it reduces the virulence of the microorganisms or their ability to adhere to the tissue of the urinary tract, which helps prevent the recurrence of the infection.
