The Diather Test Menopauza Pro medical device is a self-monitoring plate test for determining the concentration of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) in urine. Quick and easy to use, the product detects concentrations of 25 mIU/ml or higher. Determination of the level of follicle-stimulating hormone in urine is useful in diagnosing menopause.
How does the Menopause Pro Diather test work?
Menopause is the last menstrual period in a woman's life, after which there has been no bleeding for 12 monthly cycles. This event can only be determined after time has passed. Symptoms appear 2-3 years before menopause and several years after it, and this period is called menopause or menopause.
The period preceding menopause and lasting 12 months after its onset is perimenopause. During this, some women experience, among other things: hot flashes, night sweats, dry skin, joint pain, recurrent urinary tract infections, insomnia, irritability, decreased libido or depression. During menopause, the production of estrogen (female sex hormones) decreases, while the production of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) increases. Diather Test Menopauza Pro detects FSH levels of 25 mIU/ml or higher, which is useful in diagnosing menopause.
