Description
Sulfur ointment 10% Dermosan S, 70 g, Bioeel
Applied externally, sulfur is parasiticidal, fungicidal, weakly keratolytic and antiseborrheic. Indicated in the treatment of scabies, acne and other skin infections (dermatitis, intertigo, impetigo, pyoderma, candidiasis). The ointment being easily washable only with water, it is also indicated for staphylococci in the hairy regions. Active ingredients:
100 g of ointment contains 8 g of precipitated sulfur and 10 g of calcium carbonate.

Way of ussage:
In scabies, it is applied in a thin layer on the skin of the whole body, in the evening, for 3 consecutive days, after which the underwear is bathed and the clothes must be disinfected by boiling or autoclaving). In acne and other infections, it is applied locally, 1 - 2 times/day.
Contraindications:
It is not administered to infants younger than 3 months. The product cannot be used for the face and neck.
Side effects:
Prolonged use can cause irritant dermatitis phenomena.
