Description
The silver salt of sulfadiazine disintegrates on burning, releasing silver ions. Silver ions prevent the growth and reproduction of bacterial cells, while not harming skin cells and subcutaneous tissue. Dermazin cream acts (broad spectrum) against several microorganisms that cause infections in burns and other skin lesions.
Contraindications
- Dermazin contains methylparaben and propylparaben, which may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed)
