Indications:

• Defebryl 500 mg tablets is part of the group of analgesic-antipyretic drugs (relieves pain and reduces body temperature in case of fever).
• Defebryl 500 mg tablets is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of fever and for the symptomatic treatment of mild and moderate pain with different locations: headache, joint or back pain, dental pain, pain during the menstrual cycle.

Composition:
Paracetamol 500 mg

Administration method:

• Always use Defebryl 500 mg tablets exactly as your doctor has told you.
• You should talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• Adults and children over 12 years of age: 500-1000 mg paracetamol (1-2 Defebryl 500 mg tablets) at 4-hour intervals, administered as needed. It is not recommended to take it at intervals of less than 4 hours. The maximum recommended dose for adults is 4 g of paracetamol (8 Defebryl 500 mg tablets) per day.
• Children aged between 6-12 years: the dose is 60 mg/kg and day, distributed in equal doses, for example 15 mg/kg and a dose every 6 hours or 10 mg/kg and a dose every 4 hours.
• It is not recommended to take it at intervals of less than 4 hours. Do not take more than 4 doses per day.
• Children under 6 years of age: an age-appropriate pharmaceutical form will be used.
• In case of severe kidney damage, the interval between two doses must be at least 8 hours.
• It is recommended to take the medicine with a sufficient amount of liquid (about 200 ml for an adult, if possible).

Contraindications:
Do not use Defebryl 500 mg tablets:

- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to paracetamol or any of the other components of Defebryl 500 mg;
- in children under 6 years of age.

Before using Defebryl 500 mg, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:

Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.
At therapeutic doses, in the short term, the medicine can be administered during pregnancy, but the administration will be done only after evaluating the therapeutic benefit of the mother in relation to the potential risk to the fetus.
Paracetamol crosses the placenta and is excreted in breast milk, in a proportion of 1–2% of the ingested dose. Caution is recommended in the administration of paracetamol during breastfeeding.

Driving vehicles and using machines:
Paracetamol does not affect the ability to drive or use machines.
