Instructions for burning soy candles:
1) Before lighting the candle, check the length of the wick. The optimal length of the wick is about 0.5 cm. If the wick is hot, shorten it to avoid a smoky, jumpy flame. You can use specially designed wick scissors (due to their shape, they make it convenient to operate in deep wicks), or you can use classic office scissors.
2) When the candle burns, do not put it out until the wax melts to the edges of the container. Thanks to this, the candle will burn evenly and there will be no tunnel effect, so you will use all the wax and be able to enjoy it for longer.
3) Burning the candle too long can cause the wick to expand, which can cause slight smoke. It is worth extinguishing it, wait until the wax hardens slightly, shorten the wick and light it again.
4) To extinguish the candle, the best choice is to use a candle extinguisher. Otherwise, an unextinguished wick (eg when the flame is out) will produce much more smoke.
