Irritable bowel syndrome is one of the most common diseases of the digestive tract. It is described as a "functional" intestinal disorder in which, despite recorded cases, no organic cause or even other diseases can be considered responsible.

The reasons for the development of irritable bowel syndrome are not clearly understood. In addition to chronic stress and poor eating habits, there are clear indications of the involvement of the intestinal bacterial flora.

Irritable bowel syndrome is characterized by abdominal pain, bloating, flatulence, a distended stomach, as well as a changed stool frequency and texture. This is always accompanied by a disruption of the natural intestinal flora and intestinal mucosa, which affects the normal absorption of nutrients.

Colibiogen® Kinder supports the immune balance in the intestine and contributes to the regeneration of the intestinal mucosa.

Colibiogen® Kinder is based on the power of the fermentation filtrate of the strain of Escherichia coli Laves 1931: The special bacterial strain has been used successfully for more than 85 years. The filtrate is obtained from fermentation with this bacterial strain in a complex biotechnological process.

Colibiogen® Kinder is a cell-free, bacteria-free product in which, unlike conventional bacterial preparations, proteins, nucleic acids (DNA) and insoluble cell wall components have been removed. However, it contains the metabolic components of Escherichia coli, which are important nutrients for intestinal cells. These include amino acids, fatty acids and peptides.

A reduced concentration of these metabolites was observed in patients with irritable bowel, with a functional disorder of the intestinal mucosal barrier.

Ingredients:

Cell-free fermentation filtrate from strain Escherichia coli Laves 1931, purified water, lactose monohydrate, orange flavor, glucose monohydrate, sodium chloride, trace amino acids.

How to use:

• Oral administration
• 5 ml daily (1 graduated glass) in the morning, ½ hour before meals, plain or with ½ glass of water or tea
• In acute cases, the dose can be increased up to 5 ml three times a day
• Always use the included measuring cup for administration
• Clean the graduated glass after each use and let it dry
• Do not drink directly from the bottle
• Close the bottle tightly after use.

Cautions:

• Do not exceed the recommended dose for daily consumption
• Keep out of reach and sight of small children
• To be used preferably by the end of the date printed on the package (EXP.)
• Dietary supplements should not replace a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle

Storage conditions:

• To be kept in the original packaging, together with the leaflet, to be consulted when necessary
• Store at temperatures below 25°C, protected from light and moisture in the original packaging
• After first opening, Colibiogen® Kinder can be stored for 2 weeks at room temperature or 3 weeks in the refrigerator.
