Clobetasol MK, 0.5 mg/g ointment, 20 g, Fiterman Pharma

Indications:
Clobetasol MK is indicated in the following conditions:
- psoriasis in limited plaques and resistant to other treatments, especially the localized palmo-plantar forms;
- eczema refractory to treatment;
- lichen planus;
- discoid lupus erythematosus and other non-infected, corticosteroid-sensitive skin conditions that do not respond to weaker-acting corticosteroids.

Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to clobetasol propionate or to any of the excipients.

Precautions:
Before using Clobetasol MK, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding:
During pregnancy, Clobetasol MK will only be used if the doctor considers it absolutely necessary, in which case it is recommended to apply it on limited surfaces, in small quantities and for short periods.
In the case of local application, percutaneous absorption and, implicitly, the risk of clobetasol excretion in breast milk depend on the treated surface, the existing skin lesions and the duration of the treatment.

Driving vehicles and using machines:
Clobetasol MK does not influence the ability to drive vehicles or use machines.

Administration method:
Doses and method of administration:
The recommended dose of Clobetasol MK is 1 - 2 cm of ointment in 1 - 2 applications per day, depending on the severity of the injury.
The ointment is spread in a thin layer on the affected area, massaging gently until complete absorption.
In the case of certain dermatoses, such as psoriasis and atopic dermatitis, it is necessary to gradually stop the treatment, which can be achieved by decreasing the frequency of applications and/or by using a corticosteroid with a lower potency or in lower doses.
The treatment is stopped after the improvement of the condition is obtained. If the appearance of the affected area does not improve, treatment should be discontinued after a week or sooner. The continuation of the treatment beyond 4 weeks will be done only after the condition of the patients has been reevaluated.

One gram of ointment contains clobetasol propionate 0.5 mg and excipients: propylene glycol, white petrolatum, cetyl alcohol, polysorbate 80.
