Indications:
Caffetin COLDmax contains paracetamol, an analgesic that relieves pain and lowers fever, and phenylephrine, a decongestant that clears blocked nasal passages.
Caffetin COLDmax is used for the relief of cold and flu symptoms, including relief of general aches, sore throats, headaches, nasal congestion and low temperature.

Composition:
The active substances are paracetamol 1000 mg and phenylephrine hydrochloride 12.2 mg (equivalent to phenylephrine base 10.0 mg)

Administration method:
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The recommended dose is:

• Adults and adolescents over 16 years of age and weighing more than 50 kg one envelope
• The dose can be repeated every 4-6 hours.
• Do not take more than 4 sachets in a 24 hour period.
• Please note that higher than recommended doses may cause a risk of very serious liver damage.

Contraindications:
Do not take Caffetin COLDmax:
- if you are allergic to paracetamol, phenylephrine hydrochloride or any of the other components of this medicine.

Precautions:
Before using Caffetin COLDmax, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine. Caffetin COLDmax is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Driving vehicles and using machines:
To date, there have been no reports on the negative effects of Caffetin COLDmax on the ability to drive vehicles and use machines.
