What is menopause

Menopause is a natural physiological process during a woman's life, which in most cases occurs between the ages of 40 and 55 . Menopause, the permanent loss of menstruation , is clinically defined from 12 months after the cessation of menstrual bleeding .

How to recognize that you are entering menopause

Changes in sex hormone levels during menopause are observable based on associated symptoms. The symptoms are different for every woman . Test execution

Instructions before performing the test itself: To perform the test, use the first morning urine, which contains the highest concentration of hormones and will give the most accurate results. If you are still menstruating, the first test must be done in the first week of the menstrual cycle (days 2-7, day 1 of the cycle is considered the first day of menstruation). A week later, the FSH hormone level should be determined again using a second test. If you do not have a regular menstrual cycle, take the first test at any time of the month and the second test a week later. Procedure for performing the test: Place the urine in a clean container. Use a pipette to transfer 3 drops of urine to the test box (place the urine drops on the test box as shown below) - start the countdown. The test is activated when you see a red color flowing between the test and control areas. Read the test result after 5 minutes according to the picture in the instructions for use.

A positive KlimaSei ^® test result does not mean infertility

FSH hormone level

The FSH hormone stimulates the growth and maturation of ovarian follicles during the menstrual cycle. In women with a normal, regular cycle, the FSH level fluctuates up to 25 mIU/ml at mid-cycle . As menopause sets in, the body produces less and less estrogen (these hormones, among other things, trigger ovulation). FSH hormone production increases to increase estrogen production in the ovaries. This leads to a several-fold increase in the level of the FSH hormone, which can be easily detected.
