Indications:
Aliflusin is a medicine that contains 3 active substances: paracetamol, with analgesic and antipyretic effect, chlorpheniramine maleate, which reduces nasal secretion, inhibits the sensation of sneezing and watery eyes, and ascorbic acid, which covers the deficiency of vitamin C in the body.

This medicine is used in the short term to treat the symptoms of flu, cold and flu-like conditions such as headache, fever, sore throat, especially accompanied by nasal secretions, in adults and adolescents over 15 years of age. Only use Aliflusin for a combination of cold and flu symptoms, such as aches/fever and runny nose.

If after 3 days for treating fever and 5 days for treating pain (for adolescents over 15 years – 3 days) you do not feel better or feel worse, you should contact a doctor.

Contraindications:
Do not take Aliflusin:
- if you are allergic to paracetamol, ascorbic acid or chlorpheniramine maleate or any of the components of this medicine.

Precautions:
Before taking Aliflusin, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

Task:
Aliflusin is not recommended during pregnancy due to the presence of chlorpheniramine.

Lactation:
Aliflusin is not recommended during breastfeeding due to the presence of chlorpheniramine.

Fertility:
Animal studies have not indicated adverse effects of paracetamol, chlorpheniramine maleate or ascorbic acid on fertility.

Driving vehicles and using machines:
Drowsiness may occur, especially at the beginning of treatment, which affects the mental and physical abilities to drive vehicles and use machines. This effect may be greater if you simultaneously consume alcohol, take medicines containing alcohol or sedatives. It is recommended to avoid driving and using machines while using this medicine.

Administration method:
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Use by adults or adolescents over 15 years of age:
The recommended dose is a single effervescent tablet (500 mg paracetamol, 200 mg ascorbic acid, 4 mg chlorpheniramine maleate) as needed, up to 3 times a day, with an interval of at least 4 hours between doses. The maximum daily dose of 3 effervescent tablets (1500 mg paracetamol, 600 mg ascorbic acid and 12 mg chlorpheniramine maleate) should not be exceeded within a 24-hour period.

Patients with renal failure:
If you have kidney problems, the interval between 2 doses will be determined by your doctor.

Patients with liver failure:
For patients with mild to moderate hepatic impairment or Gilbert's syndrome, the dose should be reduced or the intervals between doses should be prolonged. The dose and the interval between 2 doses will be determined by your doctor.
Do not take this medicine if you have severe liver failure (see the section "Do not take Aliflusin").

Seniors:
No dose adjustment is required in the elderly with normal renal/hepatic function.

Use in children and adolescents:
This medicine should not be used in children and adolescents under 15 years of age.

Administration method:
Oral administration
The effervescent granules should be dissolved in a glass of warm water. Consume immediately after preparation.

Duration of treatment:
This medicine should not be used for more than 3 days in case of fever and 5 days to treat pain (adolescents over 15 years old - 3 days) without asking the doctor's advice. This medicine should be used at the onset of pain and fever. If they disappear, the treatment should be stopped.

Composition:
- The active substances are paracetamol, ascorbic acid and chlorpheniramine maleate. Each effervescent tablet contains 500 mg paracetamol, 200 mg ascorbic acid and 4 mg chlorpheniramine maleate.
- Other ingredients are: citric acid, sodium bicarbonate, isomalt (E 953), macrogol 6000, sodium saccharin (E 954), lemon flavor (Tetrarome Lemon P 0551 987323: corn maltodextrin, flavors (limonene, beta-pinene , citral, gamma-terpinene, linalool), alpha tocopherol (E 307)), magnesium stearate.
