ALAVIS™ Shampoo Chlorhexidine is a shampoo for the external care of the fur and skin of dogs, cats, ferrets and horses, enriched with the ingredient chlorhexidine, which helps to reduce the appearance of unwanted microorganisms, and Aloe vera, which has an anti-inflammatory effect, helps to heal faster of the wounds and thus supports the effect of the shampoo. Chlorhexidine

Due to its antiseptic properties, chlorhexidine is a widely used substance in both human and veterinary medicine. The mechanism of action consists in disrupting the cell membrane of pathogens. Use as a shampoo thus combines a mechanical (washing) and antiseptic effect.

Aloe vera

Aloe gel promotes healing and is used externally, especially for burns, minor wounds and abrasions. After application, it creates a moisturizing film on the surface of the wound, which has an anti-inflammatory effect, supports the growth of fibroblasts and collagen regeneration, accelerates granulation, improves the supply of tissues with oxygen and nutrients, and leads to a faster restoration of vascular supply.

Mode of use

Wet the fur with warm water and massage the shampoo into a rich lather . LEAVE THE SHAMPOO FOR 5 MINUTES! Then rinse off the foam carefully. The shampoo is not irritating to the eyes and ears, however, avoid touching them.

For severe skin problems

Apply ALAVIS™ Chlorhexidine Shampoo daily or as directed by your veterinarian. After the condition improves, extend the intervals depending on the condition of the coat and skin. If there is no improvement or if the condition worsens, consult a veterinarian.
