Advil Cold & Flu 200 mg/ 30 mg, 10 Softgels

Indications:
Advil Cold & Flu is used in adults and adolescents 12 years of age and older for the symptomatic treatment of the common cold and flu, including headache, high temperature (fever), sore throat, aches, nasal obstruction.
Composition:
The active substances are ibuprofen 200 mg and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride 30 mg
Administration method:
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Adults and children over 12 years of age:
How much to take
- The recommended dose is 1 capsule every 4 to 6 hours.
- If the symptoms are more serious, you can take 2 capsules at the same time.
- Do not take more than 6 capsules in 24 hours.
Taking the medicine
Swallow the capsules whole with a large glass of water.
How long to take this medicine:
Do not take this medicine for more than 5 days.
This medicine is intended for short-term use. Take the lowest dose for the shortest time needed to treat symptoms.
- Tell your doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse or if new symptoms appear. - Your doctor will tell you if it is safe to continue treatment with this medicine.
Contraindications:
Do not use Advil Cold and Flu:
- if you are allergic to ibuprofen or pseudoephedrine or any of the other components of this medicine or if you have had an allergic reaction to a
similar medicine, such as acetylsalicylic acid or another NSAID.
- if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- do not administer to children under 12 years of age.
Precautions:
Before using Advil Cold and Flu, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
- Do not take Advil Cold and Flu if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- If you think you may be pregnant or if you intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Fertility:
- Ibuprofen can affect women's ability to get pregnant. This effect is reversible after discontinuation of ibuprofen.
- Ibuprofen, used from time to time, is unlikely to affect your chances of getting pregnant. Ask your doctor before taking this medicine if you have had trouble getting pregnant in the past.
Driving vehicles and using machines:
After taking Advil Cold and Flu, you may feel dizzy, have unusual headaches, or have problems with your vision or hearing, including seeing or hearing things that aren't there (hallucinations). If this happens, do not drive, ride a bicycle or use tools or machinery.
