Collagen is an essential element of the body. It is a structural protein found naturally in the dermis, being responsible for the structure and resistance of the extracellular matrix, on which the firmness and elasticity of the skin depends.
In the cosmetic industry, as a rule, collagen of animal origin is used, but there are also alternatives of plant origin, obtained through biotechnology.
Collagen has the ability to form a fine and flexible, non-occlusive film on the surface of the skin, which will help to maintain the optimal level of hydration, while contributing to increasing skin suppleness and elasticity. It forms a film on the hair that strengthens the cuticles, provides protection, strengthening and volume.
Vegetable collagen is composed of glycoproteins extracted from non-genetically modified yeast. It has properties similar to the collagen naturally present in the skin. Vegetable collagen is an ideal asset for the care of any type of skin, especially dry, dehydrated or mature skin, also useful for the care of eyelashes, eyebrows and hair.

Composition:
Yeast extract, black willow extract, preservative approved for certified organic cosmetics.

Characteristics:
Liquid of medium viscosity, yellowish color, slight smell of yeast (not felt in the prepared products)

Way of ussage:
- it is a product that is not used as such on the skin, only as an ingredient in cosmetic preparations;
- one drop in the daily dose of cream; 2-3 drops per dose of hair conditioner;
- usual dosage recommended in cosmetic compositions 1-5%;
- as an ingredient for the preparation of creams, lotions, toners, aqueous serums, gels; in emulsions, it is incorporated at the end, cold;
- as an ingredient in conditioners, balms, hair masks and creams, hair sprays, gels and styling solutions;
- as an ingredient for the preparation of mascara and eyelash strengthening solutions;
- it can only be added to compositions that also contain water, it is not suitable for anhydrous, exclusively oily preparations.
