Tocotrienols - what is it?

Tocotrienols are organic chemical compounds commonly classified as vitamin E molecules. A mixture of tocotrienol and tocopherol is one of the commonly used chemical forms of vitamin E in dietary supplements. However, the Swanson ^® brand formula contains only DeltaGold ^® tocotrienols obtained from Annatto ( Bixa orellana L.). ^DeltaGold® contains a minimum of 84% delta-tocotrienols and 8% gamma-tocotrienols.
