Panadol for infants and children

• soothes the pains that accompany teething
• neck pain
• reduces the fever often associated with colds, flu and childhood infectious diseases such as whooping cough, measles and mumps.

Indications:

• The new Panadol for infants and children with strawberry flavor has been specially created to be pleasant to taste and easy to administer
• Does not irritate the stomach
• Each bottle contains 100 ml of paracetamol oral suspension BP
• Each 5 ml dose contains 120 mg of paracetamol.
• Panadol for infants and children does not contain salicylates, sugar or alcohol.
• It is recommended for infants and children up to 12 years of age, but should not be given to infants under 3 months of age without a doctor's advice
• Administration recommendations: A measuring spoon is included inside the package.

Composition:

• Active substance in this paracetamol
• Each 1 ml of oral suspension contains 24 mg of paracetamol
• The other components are: liquid sorbitol (non-crystallizable) (E 420), xanthan gum, methylparaben (E 218), propylparaben (E 216), anhydrous citric acid, trisodium citrate dihydrate, glycerol, strawberry flavor, disodium edetate, sucralose, maltitol liquid, purified water.

Administration method:

Weight Age Dose (ml) for one administration:

• 6 - 8 kg 3 - 6 months 4.0
• 8 - 10 kg 6 - 12 months 5.0
• 10 - 13 kg 1 - 2 years 7.0
• 13 - 15 kg 2 - 3 years 9.0
• 15 - 21kg 3 - 6 years 10.0
• 21 - 29kg 6 - 9 years 14.0
• 29 - 42 kg 9 - 12 years 20.0

Alternatively, if you don't know the child's weight for sure, you can use age as a guideline.

• Children's age under 3 months - Only on doctor's recommendation
• From 3 months to 1 year - From 1/2 to 1 tablespoon dose of 5 ml
• From 1 to 6 years - From 1 to 2 spoons dose of 5 ml
• From 6 to 12 years - From 2 to 4 spoons dose of 5 ml

If necessary, repeat the dose every 4 hours. Do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours.

Precautions:

• Do not exceed the recommended dose
• If symptoms persist, see your doctor
• Do not give to children for more than 3 days without consulting the doctor
• For advice on the medicine consult the pharmacist.

Storage:

• After first opening the bottle, do not use this medicine for more than 1 month
• Keep the medicine out of the reach of children
• Store in a cool place (below 25 degrees Celsius)
• Avoid light
• Do not freeze.
